What’s the Job?
As the DevOps Team Lead at StableLogic Labs, you will work in an international multicultural organisation where daily tasks offer various challenging, educational, and exciting assignments.
You will work alongside a team of high-performing developers, engineers, analysts, consultants, and project managers, you will be entrusted with leading initiatives crucial for client system uptime, release management, infrastructure design, network security, and support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Availability – Ensure all client systems remain operational and available for uninterrupted client use.
- People – To foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability within the team.
- Process - To ensure appropriate processes are in place, documented, tested and used for: Capacity Management, Security Incident Management, Disaster Recovery, Availability Management, Security Management.
- Security and Compliance – Collaborate with the Head of Labs (Operations) to ensure compliance with client and StableLogic standards, such as ISO 27001.
- Senior Architect – Serve as the technical lead for infrastructure design, deployment, maintenance, and optimisation.
- Values – Uphold and promote StableLogic's core values throughout team operations.

- Delivery – Ensuring the team deliver on time, with quality and in line with agreed processes.
- Networking and VoIP - Understanding of networking protocols, routing and VoIP technologies, including SIP, TLS, RTP.
- Security – To understand, analyse and advise on the security risks to clients systems and work as part of the Labs security speciality.
- Prioritisation – Efficient allocation of resources to meet client delivery requirements amidst competing demands.
Person Profile
StableLogic require good communications skills, a team player with a logical, meticulous mind and an interest in technology.
You’d be a perfect fit for our team if you have:
- Extensive prior experience with cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure).
- Experience working in Agile teams and CI/CD environments.
- Experience with containerisation (e.g., Docker), orchestration tools (e.g., Salt Stack), and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience with Security Management.
- Knowledge of ITSM Fundamentals.
- Networking expertise.
- VoIP knowledge: SIP (invite, register, call flows, responses). TLS, RTP.
- Scripting knowledge such as Bash, Python or similar.
- SQL skills and knowledge.
- Familiarity with alerting and monitoring systems.
- FreeSWITCH knowledge would be an advantage.
- Second line support.
- Release Management
