easyStorage is one of the UK’s fastest-growing self-storage providers, part of the easyGroup family. The company (legal entity E-Storage Worldwide Limited) offers secure, flexible storage solutions to both personal and business customers across the UK, with ambitious plans for national expansion.
The online booking engine is the front door to easyStorage’s business — every booking, every customer interaction and every payment flows through it.
The Challenge
A booking platform isn’t just about getting the build right. It’s about running it day in, day out — at scale, securely, and at predictable cost. As easyStorage grew, the platform needed:

Doing this in-house would have meant building a specialist Cloud Operations team — expensive, slow to recruit, and a distraction from the easyStorage growth story.
The AWS Solution
StableLogic designed and now operates easyStorage’s platform on AWS, providing 24/7 managed Cloud Operations from our UK team.
The platform runs in the AWS London Region across three Availability Zones, with a fully prepared Disaster Recovery posture in the Ireland Region. Core AWS services including Amazon Route 53, AWS WAF, Amazon ECS, Amazon RDS, Amazon S3 and AWS Backup provide a resilient foundation for the booking experience.
But the real value is what happens every day after launch.
Always-on monitoring
Our team watches the platform continuously, using Amazon CloudWatch and Amazon SNS to surface every meaningful signal — performance, errors, capacity, customer impact. Our on-call engineers respond to incidents around the clock against customer-facing booking platform SLAs.
Proactive security
AWS Inspector continuously scans the environment for vulnerabilities, and we remediate findings against agreed SLAs. AWS CloudTrail provides a full audit trail of every change, supporting easyStorage’s payment-card and data-protection compliance obligations.
Capacity that scales
Booking volumes change by hour, day and season. Our team manages capacity proactively — so the platform grows when easyStorage’s customers need it, without spending money on unused infrastructure.
Cost control built in
We use AWS Cost Explorer to review spend every month. Through ongoing FinOps reviews, capacity optimisation and rationalisation of third-party API costs, AWS spend stays aligned to actual booking volumes and seasonal demand.
Built-in disaster recovery
The booking platform is ready to recover, not just to run. Amazon S3 data is replicated cross-region to Ireland. Amazon ECR replicates container images. AWS Backup keeps recoverable copies of the RDS database in the DR region. Regular failover drills validate that the platform can be brought up in Ireland when needed — turning DR from a paper exercise into a tested operational discipline.
Controlled change management
Every change to the platform goes through controlled pipelines, with full audit trails. Updates ship safely, without disrupting bookings in flight.
